Mr. Ashok Mahindru’s Vision:
To eradicate curable blindness from the country.
Mr. Ashok Mahindru’s Mission:
To setup 300 integrated hubs by the year 2015.
Mr. Ashok Mahindru’s Purpose through these initiatives:
  • To create modern facilities using best technology and  equipment.
  • To create extensive awareness about merits of eye donations.
  • To provide high quality medicare free of cost.
Mr. Ashok Mahindru’s Strategy:
To create primary eye care and eye donation facilities in joint venture with like minded NGOs at all cities with 0.5 million population to setup one integrated hub having 9-12 remote centres and the central unit with cornea processing facility attached to a full fledged eye hospital.

Mr Ashok Mahindru attends a camp of Arya Veer Dal, Gurgaon. The Chairman of Run For vision Foundation, a non-profit organization actively engaged in eradication of blindness, encouraged the participants to put the maximum efforts in developing the mind rather than the physical aspects. Mr Mahindru stressed on how technological advances has changed the dynamics of the modern era and how technology will rule the world.

Ashok Mahindru leadfs Run For Vision Foundation along with associated NGOs to run charitable eye hospital, ten rural primary eye care centers and North India’s first and largest private eye bank. The initiative has facilitated more than 5,00,000 O.P.Ds, 7500 cataract surgeries, 3000 other surgeries, 255 cornea transplants and 657 eye donations to date.

Mr. Ashok Mahindru has been carrying forward his father Y. P. Mahindru’s dream of actively participating in the process of Social Change. Ashok Mahindru is leading various not-for-profit organisations like Vedic Kanya High School for Girl Child Education, and Run For Vision Foundation (www.runforvision.com) and Y. P. Mahindru Niramaya Eye Bank in eye donation, under the Mahindru Charitable Trust.

Run For Vision, a Non Profit company working for eradication of blindness from the society, has joined hands with theatre artists of Green Room Theatre (GRT) Cultural Society to drive home the importance of donating eyes.  

Run For Vision, a CSR initiative by Advance Group of Companies has been working actively to create awareness about merits of eye donations and is ready to take the artistic route to drill the message across theatre lovers and the masses.
